1. How much does it cost to send my child
to Tasputra?
A donation of 200 ringgit per month is charged for those parents who
can afford it.
2. What services are available
at Tasputra?
We are a full daycare and training centre. We provide a variety of treatments
including hydrotherapy, horse riding, physiotherapy, occupational therapy,
Snoezelen (sensory stimulation), speech therapy, music therapy, aromatherapy
and kindergarten-level education.
3. Operational hours
The centre is open from 7.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on weekdays. On Saturdays,
only the office is open from 7.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
4. Age of entry
Children are admitted from age two to 10, though older children may be
considered on a case-by-case basis.
5. Do the children stay in the centre?
No, this is a daycare centre.
6. Is transport provided and how much does
it cost?
Transport provision would be considered for lower-income families for
a monthly fee of 50 ringgit.
7. Are meals provided?
Three meals are given – a morning break, lunch
and tea. We also serve lots of fruit juices and distilled
water for the children.
8. Are the staff trained?
Most of the staff are trained and there is ongoing, in-house training
all the time.
9. Will the condition of my child improve?
It depends on the child’s condition and how committed the parents
are to work together with the centre’s therapists.
10. Is my child safe at the centre?
Yes. The centre takes all safety precautions seriously to ensure the
comfort and safety of each child.
